Turkish police and
emergency services surround a gallery in Ankara on Monday night after
an unidentified gunman shot dead the Russian ambassador, Andrei
Karlov, while he was speaking at the gallery. The gunman has been
killed by police. Bystanders alleged he shouted ‘Aleppo’ when he
shot Karlov, but the claims have not been confirmed
