DESTRUIÇÃO PATRIMONIAL
Criado em 1972 e instalado na quinta da Maceirinha, no
Porto, o Museu do Romantismo é o único museu português referente ao período
romântico, recriando o ambiente de uma casa burguesa da segunda metade do
século XIX. Perpetuava igualmente a memória do Rei Carlos Alberto de Sabóia da
Sardenha que morreu precisamente nesta quinta, a 28 de Julho de 1849, exilado,
triste e doente.
Foi recentemente remodelado, alterado o seu nome, perdeu
todo o seu valioso recheio e apresenta
agora uma exposição de arte contemporânea como qualquer galeria de arte, em
qualquer parte do mundo.
Assim se perdeu um museu nacional, fruto da profunda
ignorância que grassa o nosso país.
Impõe-se denunciar esta situação.

Created in 1972 and installed in the quinta da
