André Ventura participava no programa da CNN Portugal “Verdade ou Consequência”. Perto do final, e já depois de ter contestado o tom e registo da entrevista, abandonou o estúdio.

André Ventura participou este sábado no programa da CNN Portugal “Verdade ou Consequência”, em que respondeu às perguntas do pivô, André Carvalho Ramos, e dos dois comentadores do espaço, Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos e Pedro Costa.

 

O candidato presidencial foi-se queixando ao longo da entrevista que as perguntas eram “parciais”e “persecutórias”. Além disso, acusou os três entrevistadores de terem interesses escondidos, como é exemplo o facto de Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos ser apoiante de Gouveia e Melo e Pedro Costa ter uma “ligação familiar” ao PS, uma vez que é filho de António Costa.

 

Depois de ter contestado o tom e registo da entrevista (chegou a dizer “isto não é uma entrevista, é uma perseguição”), André Ventura acabou por abandonar o estúdio de forma abrupta já na parte final do programa.

 

A gota de água foi quando chegou à parte das perguntas dos telespectadores da CNN nas redes sociais. No ecrã apareceu a seguinte pergunta: “Se sempre disse que queria ser primeiro-ministro, porque se está a candidatar a Presidente?”.

 

Ventura reclamou de imediato: “Aconteceu esta coisa engraçada que, depois de me terem feito este tempo todo esta pergunta, calhou esta. Não calhou mais nenhuma? Foi só esta?” O moderador disse: “Podemos ver a seguir todas as perguntas”. Já Pedro Costa, a sorrir, disse: “Se fosse eu a escolher, tinha escolhido outra: “Porque berra tanto?, que era outra das perguntas.”

 

André Ventura levou de imediato a mão à lapela para retirar o microfone, enquanto dizia: “Porque berra tanto? Desculpe lá, estas perguntas, desculpe lá, para mim acabou”.

 

Levantou-se e, antes de sair do estúdio, atirou: “Agradeço-vos muito, mas para estes ataques assim não estou disponível”.

André Ventura participated this Saturday in the CNN Portugal program "Truth or Consequence", in which he answered questions from the pivot, André Carvalho Ramos, and the two commentators of the space, Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos and Pedro Costa.

 

The presidential candidate complained throughout the interview that the questions were "partial" and "persecutory". In addition, he accused the three interviewers of having hidden interests, such as the fact that Francisco Rodrigues dos Santos is a supporter of Gouveia e Melo and Pedro Costa has a "family connection" to the PS, since he is the son of António Costa.

 

After having contested the tone and record of the interview (he even said "this is not an interview, it's a persecution"), André Ventura ended up leaving the studio abruptly in the final part of the program.

 

The last straw was when it came to the part of CNN viewers' questions on social media. The following question appeared on the screen: "If you have always said that you wanted to be prime minister, why are you running for President?".

 

Ventura immediately complained: "This funny thing happened that, after having been asked this question all this time, this one landed. Didn't any more happen? Was it just this one?" The moderator said, "We can see all the questions below." Pedro Costa, smiling, said: "If I were the one to choose, I would have chosen another: "Why do you scream so much?, which was another of the questions."

 

André Ventura immediately put his hand to his lapel to remove the microphone, while saying: "Why do you scream so much? Sorry, these questions, sorry, it's over for me."

 

He stood up and, before leaving the studio, shot back: "I thank you very much, but I'm not available for these attacks like this."
