Danish prime minister suffered light whiplash
injury, office says

Frederiksen, the Danish prime minister, has suffered a light whiplash injury
after she was assaulted by a man in central Copenhagen yesterday, her office
said in a statement, Reuters reported.
“Apart from
that, the Prime Minister is safe and sound, but she is shocked by the
incident,” the office said.
Frederiksen
had been taken to hospital for a check-up following the incident and her
official events today have been cancelled, the office said.
