Fugiram
19 dos 22 migrantes marroquinos que estavam instalados numa pousada em São
Pedro do Sul, depois de ter sido libertados na sequência do fim do praz legal
de detenção.

Portugal teve acesso a imagens exclusivas do momento em que um homem, que se
suspeita que pertence a uma rede de tráfico humano, aborda o grupo.
O homem
desloca-se num carro de alta cilindrada com matrícula espanhola, seguindo
depois para uma conversa com o grupo, que chegou ao Algarve vindo de Marrocos.
A
conversa aconteceu a cerca de 200 metros da pousada onde estavam alojados pela
Segurança Social, e onde aguardavam os próximos passos para saberem se eram
devolvidos ou se podiam ficar em Portugal.
A fuga
foi realizada com vários carros vindos de Espanha e os primeiros imigrantes
deixaram o país logo na noite de terça-feira.

Portugal sabe que outros 12 imigrantes que pertenciam ao grupo de 38 pessoas
que chegou ao Algarve em agosto também fugiram. Estavam instalados numa pensão
em Portimão, de onde saíram sem avisar.
Os 37
imigrantes libertados - o outro tinha deixado o país voluntariamente -, entre
eles um bebé e seis crianças, foram libertados esta segunda-feira.
Apesar de
estarem proibidos de sair de território nacional, não estavam sujeitos a
qualquer vigilância e podiam abandonar livremente os locais onde foram
instalados.

22 Moroccan migrants who were staying in a hostel in São Pedro do Sul have
fled, after being released following the end of the legal detention period.

Portugal had access to exclusive images of the moment when a man, who is
suspected of belonging to a human trafficking network, approaches the group.
The man
travels in a high-capacity car with Spanish license plates, then goes on to a
conversation with the group, which arrived in the Algarve from Morocco.
The
conversation took place about 200 meters from the inn where they were housed by
Social Security, and where they were waiting for the next steps to find out if
they would be returned or if they could stay in Portugal.
The
escape was carried out with several cars coming from Spain and the first
immigrants left the country on Tuesday night.

Portugal knows that another 12 immigrants who belonged to the group of 38
people who arrived in the Algarve in August also fled. They were staying in a
boarding house in Portimão, from where they left without warning.
The 37
freed immigrants - the other had left the country voluntarily - including a
baby and six children, were released this Monday.
Although
they were prohibited from leaving national territory, they were not subject to
any surveillance and could freely leave the places where they were installed.
