Viveram-se
momentos de tensão junto à Assembleia da República quando o líder do Chega veio
à rua para confrontar os imigrantes, que ali se concentraram para pedir
direitos e “documentos para todos”.
“Ataquem-me
ou não, não vamos desistir de impor regras”, afirmou André Ventura aos
jornalistas, referindo que "isto nunca aconteceu".
“Não nos
deixaremos silenciar”, “têm de cumprir regras”, "vamos resistir para
defender Portugal" e “se não me deixam falar não é democracia”, repetiu
Ventura, bastante vaiado por parte dos manifestantes, que chamaram
"fascista" e "racista" ao líder do Chega.
"Esta
lei dos estrangeiros, que nem é como gostava que fosse, não é contra eles. É
para impor regras. Isto não é um país de burcas", frisou, num momento de
grande tensão.

concentração, promovida pela associação Solidariedade Imigrante, foi marcada
para as 14:00, sob intenso calor.
Desde
então que várias centenas de pessoas ocupavam a zona em frente ao parlamento,
sentadas e entoando palavras de ordem como “documentos para todos”.

There
were moments of tension near the Assembly of the Republic when the leader of
Chega came to the street to confront the immigrants, who gathered there to ask
for rights and "documents for all".

journalists, noting that "this has never happened".
