Spain’s Ceuta is relocating minors housed at the El Tarajal complex as authorities prepare new temporary accommodation areas amid continued migration pressure. Footage shows groups of minors carrying bags and suitcases while waiting to be transferred within the complex. Spanish authorities said 72,000 people entered the territory irregularly from Morocco on July 30 and 31, with Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska estimating that around 5,000 remained in Ceuta by August 28, including about 1,500 minors. Authorities and opposition parties have disputed the figures as the continued presence of migrants fuels political and public pressure over accommodation and returns.
