Ceuta's
migration crisis is putting Spain and the European Union under growing pressure
as the enclave's leader Juan Jesus Vivas demands urgent help from Brussels.
Spain is
seeking assistance with repatriating migrants, stronger border infrastructure,
support for unaccompanied minors and a permanent EU presence through agencies
including Frontex and the EU Agency for Asylum. But Brussels says it is not yet
ready to approve Spain's emergency support request and wants further
information before making a decision.
