El Rey ESTALLA contra Sánchez por prohibirle ir a Ceuta: "¡Basta ya!”

A new scandal has exposed the cowardice of Moncloa after it was confirmed that Pedro Sánchez has expressly prohibited King Felipe VI from travelling to Ceuta during the invasion of the Spanish city. Various reliable sources have verified that the Monarch wanted to go immediately from Palma to the southern border to convey in situ a message of "encouragement and firmness" to the people of Ceuta. However, the President of the Government flatly refused to authorise the presence of the Head of State in the affected area. Faced with the refusal of the Executive, Zarzuela has had to settle for unofficially transmitting Don Felipe's "indignation" at the "serious events" and asking that all the "support and affection" be given to the populations of Ceuta and Melilla.

Sánchez's veto has responded to a personalistic political calculation and panic at the response of the street. Moncloa knew that, just 24 hours after the loud whistles and boos that the socialist leader suffered on his fleeting visit to Ceuta,

the King would have been massively acclaimed by the citizens. And that's precisely what I didn't want. In addition, the Monarch's trip would have coincided in time with the embarrassing arrival of Sánchez, his family and their dogs at the royal residence of La Mareta to begin a five-week holiday in Lanzarote, as well as with the dissemination of his controversial video disseminating musical recommendations.

In order not to expose the president's summer scare, the government has preferred to block Don Felipe's agenda and muzzle the Crown at a time of national emergency.

This blockade of the King has caused deep indignation among the agents of the Security Forces and Corps, the military and the people of Ceuta themselves, who during the most critical hours have asked with anguish "Where is the King?". Moncloa has preferred to protect its image and excuse the Alawi regime rather than allow the Captain General of the Armed Forces to support the population. While the government has tried to make up the official figures by assuring that 72,000 people entered, police sources and the president of Ceuta himself, Juan Jesús Vivas, have confirmed that the avalanche exceeded 84,000 inhabitants of the autonomous city.

A border collapse in the face of which Sánchez and his minister Marlaska have preferred to align themselves with Rabat, describing the neighbouring country as a "reliable partner".

The inaction and censure of the Executive have caused a serious deterioration in relations between Zarzuela and Moncloa, reissuing historic clashes in the nation's foreign policy. By not having allowed the Monarch to set foot on the attacked territory, Sánchez has forced the King to receive the President of Ceuta in Palma on Thursday to be able to hear first-hand the tragedy that the city is experiencing.

While the international press has harshly criticised Sánchez's holidays and his social disconnection, the manoeuvre to silence Don Felipe has certified that the government has preferred to hide its weakness and cover up the popular clamour in the street rather than guarantee the defence and dignity of Spain.
