AFD reacted against the Islamic attack in Pride Berlin?
Following
the July 2026 Islamist terror attack at the Christopher Street Day (CSD) Pride
event in Berlin, the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party
reacted by fiercely criticizing the federal government's security and migration
policies. Despite historically having little sympathy for LGBTQ+ causes, the
party used the tragedy to advance its anti-immigration agenda ahead of upcoming
state elections.
