Restore
Britain, led by MP
Rupert Lowe, is widely described by political analysts and watchdog groups as
an ethno-nationalist and radical-right political movement.
Watchdog
groups and political analysts characterize the party's ideological framework by
the following tenets:
- Overt Ethnic Nationalism: The movement defines British
identity based on "indigenous British ancestry and Christian
faith," pushing an exclusive, ethnically driven view of national
identity.
- Hardline Stance on Immigration: It distinguishes itself from
other populist parties (such as Nigel Farage's Reform UK)
by advocating for the mass deportation of migrants and more extreme
anti-immigration measures.
- Association with the Extreme
Right: Since
its inception, the party has attracted and served as a magnet for fringe
activists, former members of the British National Party (BNP), and
self-described ethno-nationalist figures.
Because of
these overt racial politics and restrictive definitions of Britishness,
organizations like HOPE not hate have classified the movement as part of a
"broader re-racialisation of the British far right"
