Afonso Gonçalves and Reconquista

I see these kinds of radical movements gaining some traction, getting a lot of support on social media, and it's worrying to me. The extremist positions regarding non-European citizens living in Portugal claim that only those with 3/4 of their family being ethnically Portuguese can have Portuguese nationality, regardless of their contribution to our country (reverting nationalities) or deporting everyone who is legal or naturalized and hasn't obtained legalization in the way they deem correct, even if they are contributing positively. I don't think it's very productive to debate this topic because I believe there will still be people in this sub defending these prehistoric and unconstitutional ideas (not even Trump does that).

As for other points, he is openly misogynistic by saying that divorce should be made illegal, that women are to blame for most of them, that women should go to marriage as virgins, be banned from voting until they’re 35, not allowed to go out alone at night, go to the gym, or have social media for approval, etc. He's also homophobic by saying that homosexuality is a disease.

I don't know anyone close to this kind of ideology; even folks I know who want to vote more to the right (like I have that thought) have a moderate stance on immigration, advocating for its control and deportation of criminals or illegals, but I see a lot of support on social media. Do you think this kind of movement can gain enough traction among the Portuguese people to have representative power in parliament, or will it fizzle out like what Ergue-te and part of Chega represent?
