Sur X, le ministre de l'Intérieur, renouvelé à son poste, a lancé une bombe : il n'est pas satisfait de la composition du gouvernement et convoque le comité stratégique son parti.

Alors que la gauche et le Rassemblement national fustigent le nouveau gouvernement - trop macroniste à leur goût -, le coup le plus rude est-il venu d'un de ses membres ? Patron des Républicains, mais aussi ministre de l'Intérieur renouvelé, Bruno Retailleau a pris ses distances avec Sébastien Lecornu.

 

« La composition du Gouvernement ne reflète pas la rupture promise. Devant la situation politique créée par cette annonce, je convoque demain matin le comité stratégique des Républicains », a-t-il écrit sur X. Le Vendéen avait poussé, ce dimanche, à la participation « exigeante » des LR au sein du gouvernement alors que son camp était divisé - Laurent Wauquiez était contre.

 

Un tweet qui tombe au plus mauvais moment alors que le Premier ministre doit prononcer son discours de politique générale mardi et qu'une motion de censure devrait être débattue cette semaine.

While the left and the National Rally are castigating the new government - too Macronist for their taste - did the hardest blow come from one of its members? Boss of the Republicans, but also renewed Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau has distanced himself from Sébastien Lecornu.

 

"The composition of the Government does not reflect the promised break. Faced with the political situation created by this announcement, I am convening the strategic committee of the Republicans tomorrow morning," he wrote on X. The Vendéen had pushed, this Sunday, for the "demanding" participation of the LR in the government while his camp was divided - Laurent Wauquiez was against it.

 

A tweet that comes at the worst possible time as the Prime Minister is due to deliver his general policy speech on Tuesday and a motion of censure is expected to be debated this week.
