All the projections of the results of the second round of the presidential elections advanced by the various Portuguese televisions give the victory to António José Seguro. A comfortable result for the socialist, with more than double the votes of André Ventura.

António José Seguro will be the new President of Portugal and the vote may even exceed 70%, taking into account the polls.

The projection of the Catholic University for RTP places António José Seguro between 68% and 73%. André Ventura, leader of the far-right party Chega, could get between 27% and 32% of the votes.

Abstention should increase compared to the first round. By 4 pm, 45.5% of registered voters had voted, data from the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
