Princess
Kate's uncle Gary Goldsmith entered the Celebrity Big Brother house last night
and appeared to divulge where the royal has been recuperating.
His
appearance on the show may become a headache for the Royal Family as he is
known for his outspoken views, particularly on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Talking to
the housemates about his niece, the businessman and Carole Middleton's younger
brother said she is in a "nice house somewhere" recovering after her
abdominal surgery.
Host AJ
Odudu also asked him if Kate was likely to be watching the show, to which he
replied: "If she is sitting behind a sofa, yes! It'll be a nice one in a
nice house somewhere, I can guarantee that!"
Mr
Goldsmith has previously said the Princess is "the most spectacular person
I've ever met".

Kate has
not been seen out on public duties this year, as in January Kensington Palace
confirmed she had undergone major surgery on her abdomen and would need time to
recover.
Although
they did not specify the exact nature of her condition, the operation was a
success and it is hoped she will be back to work around Easter.
An update
issued last week said she was continuing to do well, as it is believed she is
convalescing at home in Windsor at Adelaide Cottage.
The Palace
reiterated its original statement, saying: "We were very clear from the
outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington
Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant."
While the
Middletons are not too pleased with his appearance on the ITV reality show, Mr
Goldsmith has promised he will not say anything that might upset the Waleses.
He told The
Sun: "She [Kate] is beautiful on the outside, but more beautiful on the
inside and really is a doting mum - so the way the monarchy is moving, it’s
family-centric.
"That’s
why I got so upset with Harry and Meghan because you don’t put a stick into
that spoke and reinvent history."
He added:
"I think everyone felt the same about how much did we love Harry and then
throwing your family under the bus just seemed inappropriate, especially what
was happening with the Queen (Elizabeth II). I just thought it was totally
unnecessary."
The
58-year-old also reportedly told his sister Carole to send Kate his love as she
recovers, as he admitted things had been quite "stressful" for the
Middleton family.
Other
celebrities set to be joining Mr Goldsmith in the Big Brother house include
Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne and Fern Britton.
