Russian-brokered ceasefire in the disputed Caucasus region of Nagorno-Karabakh
is coming under severe strain. Azerbaijan claims overnight shelling by Armenian
forces has killed seven people in its second biggest city, Ganja. Officials say
strikes targeted an apartment building. The two former Soviet republics are
blaming each other for breaking the armistice in the long-running conflict. But
even with hopes for a lasting truce dwindling, a pause in the fighting has
given civilians there a chance to return home.
